This is a high quality replica Luftwaffe M43 cap. This style of cap was introduced in 1943 to replace the earlier sidecap and was patterned on the bergmütze used by the gebirgsjäger or mountain troops.
I believe this particular cap was made by SM Wholesale in California.
High quality feldblau wool shell and blue-gray rayon lining. Two-button front variant with stacked two-piece embroidered insignia. Correct teardrop shaped top.
