I am selling a pair of postwar East German felt and leather filzstiefel.
These were worn by soldiers of the East German Army (Nationale Volksarmee or NVA) serving the DDR (Deutsche Demokratische Republik), a member of the Warsaw Pact under communist rule opposing NATO during the Cold War.
These boots are an updated version of the style worn by the Wehrmacht during the Second World War on the Eastern Front, featuring rubber soles as opposed to leather ones.
Supremely warm pieces of winter gear. Quarter inch felt keeps your feet nice and toasty while the leather adds resistance to moisture.
These fit approximately a size 9-10 US and are in used but good condition.
