I am selling a pair of reproduction M29 Italian camouflage “telo mimetico” trousers. The Italian military is notable in being one of the first to adopt a camouflage pattern for their soldiers as the name suggests in 1929. This striking three-color pattern was used primarily for shelter halves although they did make specialized garments featuring it.
In 1943 when Mussolini was ousted from power and the Italian government capitulated, the Wehrmacht seized stocks of Italian military equipment and supplies in the parts of the country they still occupied. This included copious quantities of telo mimetico camouflage which they then used to make their own garments. This is a reproduction of a popular style of trousers made by German field tailors, featuring a single large map pocket on the leg.
These trousers would fit approximately 32-36 waist.
I am asking $60 on these plus shipping.
