Kriegsmarine M35 helmet. This started life as a pre-war double decal naval helmet
It retains traces of the service branch decal and the tricolor national shield.
At some point I believe this was overpainted and then someone attempted to strip the paint to reveal the decals and factory apple green paint with partial success.
Name in rear of skirt that may be wartime. ET64 shell. Liner and chinstrap are reproduction.
